How to link PAN with Aadhaar in English
PAN (Permanent Account Number) and Aadhaar (Unique Identification Number) are two import

- Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number, name as per Aadhaar, and captcha code. If your Aadhaar has only year of birth, tick the checkbox.
- Click on the "Link Aadhaar" button. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Offline method:
- Download the PAN-Aadhaar linking form from Aadhar pdf
- Fill in the details such as PAN, Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, gender, and signature.
- Attach a photocopy of your PAN card and Aadhaar card.
- Submit the form at the nearest NSDL or UTIITSL service centre. A nominal fee may be charged.
- You will receive an acknowledgement slip after verification.
SMS method:
- Send an SMS to 567678 or 56161 from your registered mobile number in the following format: UIDPAN<space><12 digit Aadhaar number><space><10 digit PAN>
- For example: UIDPAN 123456789012 ABCDE1234F
- You will receive a confirmation message once the linking is done.
You can check the status of your PAN-Aadhaar linking online at income tax by entering your PAN and Aadhaar number.
